M.N.Z.S.P. Dr. Halpine, born in Omaha, NE, U.S.A., completed his doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1989. He was residency trained in Podiatric Surgery and Medicine in 1989/90 in the San Francisco Bay area. He has an honours degree in Biology from Hamline University in Minnesota, U.S.A. Tim is involved in competitive running and tennis and lives in Ngaio, Wellington with his son Jem, daughter Clare and his wife Wendy.   This seal indicates that Dr. Halpine continues to upgrade and improve techniques through a variety of Professional Development activities. In 2000 Dr. Halpine was chosen as the representative for the New Zealand Society of Podiatrists on the Australasian Podiatry Council.
